Happy Birthday MLP: FiM! Thanks for getting me back into doing digital art. I had started this a while ago, and decided to finish it for the occasion!

Spike and Applejack from S01E03. Spike has just received a ticket to the Grand Galloping Gala and is quite pleased, despite voicing the opinion that he didn't want to go. Applejack looks smug at his flip-flop.

I'm trying to be show accurate, so please point out any issues! One thing that bugs me is Spike's tail, where the green meets the purple. I don't think I got that quite right but "just don't know what went wrong". In the source, AJ's crossed leg is shaded as if it were behind, but I didn't think this looked good. Thoughts?

Made in Illustrator. 2-ish hours for AJ, 3-ish hours for Spike, not including error checking.
